Due to high demand, our volunteers cannot collect every case. Please make every effort to contain and deliver any injured animals to one of our team, this goes a long way to help us help more animals.

HEART (Heart Animal Rescue Team CIC) was founded by Hannah Bolton after finding there was a need for support within Essex for wildlife. Hannah has been rehabbing and rescuing animals since 2020 and since 2023 she also started to rescue domestic animals The team of volunteer's mean everything to Hannah and we all play our part working together in accounts, admin, donations and Facebook, fundraising events, Instagram and to everyone running around as part of the team doing more than human possible. Hannah thanks everyone in the team as this wouldn't be do able without them.

Liza deals with all our finances As Liza has owned her own accountancy company since 2011, we needed her to step down from fostering and has been running the finance since 2025 . Any questions relating money please contact Liza on heartrescue23@outlook.com she will be able to answer your questions. Liza started with us in early 2024 wanting to foster now she's here dealing with all your generous donations.

Danielle is everything fundraising to setting up stalls, helping with donations. Danielle started as a transporter in 2024 and is now going above and beyond with looking after wildlife, also supporting the transporters. Natalie is everything admin wise but also deals with all the Dogs and Domestics. Natalie has been with Hannah since she started the Dogs and Domestics team the end of 2023.

Shel runs facebook group and also works along side Danielle with Heart Animal Rescue Team Fundraising . Shel passes all message onto the team of people wanting help, post's on Facebook and lots more.. shel has been with us since mid 2024 and will always get back to everyone asap.

Please remember we are all volunteers and we all have jobs families and commitments as well as saving and rescuing animals from wild life to domestics, so please bare with us and always try to give as much information as possible from the start.
